Dr. Johnson has over twenty years experience treating
patients with diseases of the nervous system. He
is board-certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology
(electroencephalography, electro-myography, and
evoked potential testing), sleep medicine, and internal
medicine. He has a special interest in sleep disorders
and is the Director of the St. Patrick Hospital
Sleep Disorders Center.
Dr. Johnson received a B.A. from Cornell University,
and was awarded his M.D. from the University of
Michigan. He did post-graduate training in internal
medicine at the University of New Mexico and in
neurology at the University of New Mexico and McGill
University's Montreal Neurological Institute. He
has published many articles in scientific journals
about neurology and neurophysiology.
In 1991, he completed his M.B.A at the University
of Montana where he did extensive studies on health
economics. He is one of the founding Members of
Montana Neurobehavioral Specialists and has served
as the Managing Member since its inception in 2000.
He likes to ride long distances on his bicycle,
ski, and play the piano.
