Originally from North Alabama, Beth McGee earned
her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University
of North Alabama. Her nursing career there included
seven years in the Intensive Care Unit, cardiac
rehabilitation, nursing education, and the first
nurse admitting office manager in Alabama. While
in Alabama she became certified by the American
Nurses Credentialing Center in Nursing Professional
Development.
Longing to be in the mountains, and away from heat
and humidity, she and her husband moved to Montana
in the winter of 1996. Her experience in Montana
includes manager of six rural clinics in Sanders
County, home health and hospice, and nursing education.
With 20 years of nursing experience and a desire
to know more, she enrolled in the Gonzaga University
Nurse Practitioner program. Three years later, she
completed the program with a Masters of Science
in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner. She is certified
by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She has been Regional Faculty for the American Heart
Association since 1998.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, who is
an X-Ray Technologist, and her dogs as well as snowmobiling,
snowshoeing, quilting, hiking, and camping
