Susan Frauenglass Swierc is a Clinical and Health Psychologist who offers mind-body tools to help her clients improve their health and relationships. She works with children, adolescents and families to treat depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, mood disorders, conduct problems, developmental disorders (Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome), child abuse issues and adjustment problems with school, work, family, and/or peers. Her specialization in Pediatric Psychology includes interventions for coping with medical conditions (chronic or acute; both in and out of the hospital), pain management and medical procedure preparation, elimination disorders, obesity and stress-related problems such as headache, abdominal pain or sleep disturbance. She also offers psychological assessments for young children.
Dr. Swierc grew up in New Mexico and has lived in different parts of the country for school and work, including Pennsylvania, Colorado, Florida and Illinois. She has settled in Montana with her family, enjoying the great outdoors and wonderful community life. She continues her passion for skiing and ski instruction, where the mind and body clearly work as a powerful team to achieve mastery. Combining this knowledge with years of training and experience in Clinical and Health Psychology, she shares a wealth of brain and behavior tools to help her clients overcome the psychological difficulties that impair health and positive adjustment.
